Work to benefits website visitors & improvements to the ReelFlow Player
- Smooth Scrolling to the location on the page: Buttons in the Player now smoothly scroll the page to the appropriate anchor on the page rather than jumping, improving how visitors navigate when using ReelFlow.
- Audio preference persistence: The sound on/off state now persists after a page reload, preventing surprises for the visitor.
Work that improves the Dashboard experience
- Changes to how we process of all videos, including:
- Video Compression: we’ve optimized video formats to improve the quality of the delivery.
- Improved Sound Levels: To ensure better audio quality and consistency across videos.
- Thumbnail Generation: Added visual previews for videos across the Dashboard.
- The Flow Preview experience is now more reliable.
- Improved the readability and clarity of the text we use across the Dashboard, and Flow ID is now visible in Flow Builder for ease of access.
- Fixed some issues related to captions, including stopping incorrectly displaying the word “Generating” once the captions have been created for a video.
- Improvements to Performance metrics:
- Individual Reel Plays & Button Clicks Stats: Adds more granular tracking for engagement metrics.
- Updated Dashboard map view: Now displaying performance data from the last 30 days.
- Visitors Reached Metric Update: Now shows a unique visitor count on the summary instead of a cumulative visit count, making the value more meaningful.
- Preset custom styles per workspace for all new Flows: Ensures that new Flows always retain your Player styles and preferences.
- Improved keyboard accessibility: Enhanced the flyover menus for better usability when navigating using a keyboard.
- Prettier links when sharing of ReelFlow URLs on other software tools like Slack: Enhances link styling and visibility when shared in third-party software or other channels like instant messaging apps.
- Fixed a number of bugs across features including caption generation, previewing flows, accounts with no performance metrics to view, and video uploads.
